The Jacob & Carolina Foundation was founded in 2016 with a mission to inspire hope, compassion, and opportunity through education and community outreach. Originally established as the Jacob Weynand Pattiradjawane Foundation, it was created in honor of founder's late father, whose legacy of kindness and service continues to guide its purpose. The foundation’s first mission began in Saleman Village, Seram Island, Maluku, East Indonesia, focusing on teaching children basic oral hygiene, reading, and educational enrichment activities. In 2023, following the passing of her beloved mother, the foundation was renamed the Jacob & Carolina Foundation, now dedicated to both of her parents—Jacob and Carolina—whose love, resilience, and generosity continue to inspire every initiative. Today, the foundation remains committed to empowering children and communities in Indonesia and beyond, through programs centered on education, health awareness, and personal development.
